Types of lining

Opossum
Lambskin
Lambskin lining, also known as shearling, is a timeless classic for natural warmth and comfort. This material consists of the tanned hide of a lamb, preserving its original, dense, and woolly fleece.
The wool, in direct contact with the hand, superbly regulates temperature, keeping you warm without causing sweat, thanks to its natural moisture-wicking ability that absorbs and releases moisture. The feeling to the touch is one of unparalleled softness. It is a premium lining, ideal for elegant city gloves and for those seeking luxurious and durable insulation.

Quilted Padding
The lining known as “piumotto” is a synthetic padding made of 100% polyester, designed to mimic the softness and insulating power of down. This soft wadding is composed of a dense web of fine fibers that create countless small air pockets.
This system effectively traps body heat, providing excellent thermal insulation. Being entirely synthetic, it is hypoallergenic, has good moisture resistance (retaining some of its insulating power even when wet), and dries quickly. It is a practical and versatile choice that offers an excellent balance of warmth.
Fleece
Fleece is one of the most common and versatile synthetic linings, valued for its excellent performance. Typically made from polyester, this brushed knit fabric is lightweight, soft, and highly breathable.
Its structure effectively traps heat, but its real strength lies in moisture management: being hydrophobic, it does not absorb sweat but wicks it away from the skin, keeping hands dry and drying very quickly. Perfect for sports activities and everyday use, fleece is a reliable and durable solution.
