Between the pages of Capital and the windows of Corso Magenta: a Christmas season defined by excellence
There is a particular moment that happens when you leaf through a prestigious magazine and suddenly find yourself in front of a mirror made of paper. That’s exactly what happened this month with the December issue of Capital, but this time the emotion had a different, deeper meaning. Our presence is not accidental: we were selected as part of the prestigious Class Editori project titled “I Figli che onorano i Padri e le Madri.” Reading the story of our “boutique-laboratory,” an integral part of Milan’s history since 1920, within an initiative that celebrates family businesses capable of overcoming the test of time, filled me with immense joy. It is the confirmation that our history is not just the past, but a solid and vibrant present. I often pause to reflect on what this word truly means: continuity. For us, who have surpassed a century of life, it is not just dates or anniversaries. It is 105 years of intertwined lives, of hands that have worked with passion, of dreams passed from my grandparents to my parents, and finally to me.

When I took the reins of the company, during the difficult years of the pandemic, I felt the weight of responsibility. I can still see myself, fresh out of university, trying to find my place between two giants: my grandmother’s decisive strength and my father Piero’s thoughtful patience. Today, reading our story again in Capital, I feel that the journey begun in 1920 still pulses strongly through my veins.
Ours has never been “just a job.” My father taught me that creating a glove is a form of art. In a world rushing toward industrialization, we chose the luxury of slowness. We chose the time needed for care, concentration, and true craftsmanship. It is a choice I am immensely proud of and one that is reflected in every stitch of our gloves.

Our daily challenge is to make this glorious past speak to the future. I look back with admiration at how my parents, in the 1950s, had the courage to innovate by creating the Sport line. That spirit is alive today in our collections of luxury gloves for men, women, driving, and skiing. We use the noblest materials nature offers—such as the incomparable softness of deerskin or the absolute prestige of peccary—and blend them with modern technology, incorporating breathable membranes, touchscreen capabilities, and warm interiors in opossum or technical fleece.
But true luxury today is the direct experience. That is why I invite you to immerse yourself in the magic of Christmas in our Temporary Store in Milan, at Corso Magenta 32. We wanted to create a welcoming space where you can feel the quality of our leathers with your own hands. In Corso Magenta we don’t just offer products; we offer special services designed to make every gift unforgettable. Among them, I am particularly proud of our personalization service: a touch of class that allows each glove to become truly “yours,” unique and unrepeatable—just like the person who will receive it.
Every pair of Restelli gloves is different from all the others because it carries the human imprint of the person who created it. This is the secret of our Made in Italy: authentic luxury, shaped by invisible details and tangible passion.
I look forward to sharing this beauty with you: at Corso Magenta 32, through our authorized retailers around the world, or in our online boutique.
Thank you for being part of our journey.
