David Schnell has been a friend of Restelli Gloves’ for a long time. Born in the Graubuenden region in the heart of the Swisss Alps, David has a great passion we thoroughly share with him: mountains and skiing. His expert and trained eye instantly focuses his glance on the essence of a tipcally alpine day: soft snowy caps are his genuine obsessions and he’s been able to make his dreams come true by turning his love for traveling and the snow his profession.
David immediately figured out that our gloves feature the comfort, the warmth and resistance needed by anyone who wishes to live extreme adventures on the snow and needs water resistant and heavy duty materials; at the same time we found in him a mountain lover and an extraordinary visual interpreter of the essence and soul of our gloves.
David Schnell had an amazing idea and went on organizing heliskiing holidays for women such as the heliskiing week on the Canadian mountains of British Columbia; such getaways are reserved to women and enable participants to explore and ski over slopes that can only be reached via a helicopter. Next year’s plan has already been readied: David will lead his team to Nepal some in March 2018!
We are posting here the first images he sent us from Canada where he had a chance to test these new leather camouflage gloves that will be sold in shops during the 2017-2018 season. The extreme conditions he experienced in Canada gave David a chance to verify how resistant, elegant and warm our gloves are even for freeriders. We worked hard and we have reached our goal: David told us that we have made an amazing pair of gloves that can stand any weather condition and that these gloves are something you no longer abandon once you try them.
You cannot imagine how happy we were when we saw these shots mad in such remote and untouched lands!
