Our long time friend artist Maurizio Perron constantly travels the world and during the winter often sends us photos taken while he creates splendid artworks built with… ice. You got it right, Maurizio is an extraordinary artist who, with his hands – properly covered and sheltered by our mittens – creates wonders working the ice. These days he can be found in the French Alps at Valloire in Savoie, not too far from the Italian border.
Maurizio is participating in the 31st International Ice Sculpture Competition, happening this week in the Savoyard town. Maurizio represents Italy with the work Filter, which will be completed on 13 January.
