The Stelvio Pass is opening up its site on June 1st and many just can’t wait: snow conditions are great and roads clear; isn’t that just perfect? A new entry for the Alps: Val D’Isère got so much snow during the winter that it enabled them to decide to open up their Bellevarde ski area starting June 3. The Glacier area will open up in mid-July.
