Observing a Restelli ski glove up close means immediately understanding what it means to carry forward a century-old manufacturing heritage without ever compromising.
Every detail – from the branded zipper to the hand stitching, from the studied length of the cuff to the choice of leathers – tells a story of absolute dedication to quality, a commitment that has defined the DNA of our Milanese atelier since 1920. These are the pillars of Restelli excellence: tradition, quality and artisanal mastery
Over a century of Italian manufacturing tradition
The history of Restelli Guanti spans more than 100 years of artisanal excellence, a journey that today sees the third generation in command of the company. This is not simply family continuity, but the transmission of knowledge rooted in the great Milanese and Italian manufacturing tradition, the one that has made Made in Italy synonymous with absolute quality worldwide.
Every glove that leaves our atelier carries with it this heritage of knowledge: cutting techniques passed down from generation to generation, secrets in the selection of materials, manufacturing methods that require years of hands-on learning to master. It is an approach that rejects the shortcuts of mass production, favoring instead the slowness necessary for perfection.

Raw materials: the selection that makes the difference
The quality of a glove begins long before the hands of our craftswomen and craftsmen touch the leather. It begins with the careful selection of raw materials, a process that at Restelli represents a true act of curation. We work exclusively with the highest level leathers: peccary, considered the qualitative apex in the universe of gloves; full-grain water-repellent deerskin, soft and resistant; the finest nappa, selected for its extraordinary softness.
The linings are no less important: natural opossum, the softest lambskin, high-quality technical fleece. Every internal element is designed to guarantee not only thermal comfort, but also that unmistakable tactile sensation that distinguishes an artisanal glove from an industrial product. 100% Made in Italy is not simply a commercial claim for us, but a guarantee that every phase of production takes place in respect of the highest Italian manufacturing traditions.
Artisanal ski gloves: when technique meets elegance
Our artisanal ski gloves perhaps represent the maximum expression of this balance between functionality and refinement. Each pair conceals workmanship that requires hours of manual labor and attention to detail that only craftsmanship can guarantee.
The saddle stitch, executed strictly by hand, is not just an aesthetic indulgence but a guarantee of strength and durability over time. The branded side zipper – a distinctive element of our ski gloves – is not simply functional: it is designed to facilitate wearing without compromising the elegance of the line. The cuff length is calibrated with precision (three inches) to guarantee optimal protection from cold and snow, while the internal elastics ensure a perfect fit.
Every technical detail is executed with the same sartorial care we dedicate to the most formal gloves: the embroidered logo, the decorative stitching, the choice of thread colors. Because a Restelli ski glove must perform impeccably on the slopes, but without ever renouncing that discreet elegance that has always distinguished us.
Excellence admits no compromise
This philosophy – absolute quality of raw materials, meticulous artisanal workmanship, respect for tradition combined with technical innovation – represents what we have been, what we are and what we will continue to be. Because in an increasingly fast and standardized world, we choose the more difficult path: that of excellence without compromise.
Every Restelli glove carries this commitment with it. It is an object destined to last, to age gracefully, to tell the story of those who wear it and those who created it.
